Nate Cudney (Belmont Abbey) continued his stellar start to the season with a 4.2 inning relief appearance for his second win of the season. Cudney held Mount Olive to a single hit and no runs in his latest outing, lowering his ERA to 1.32 on this year. He has 21 strikeouts and only 4 walks in five appearances (two starts).
Oakland University freshman Spencer Marentette earned his second start of the season facing #16 Louisville on Sunday. Marantette was 1 for 3 before being pinch hit for late in the game. He is batting .400 on the season with an RBI.
